Salary: £26,780 to £27,182 per annum
Location: Ravenswood Village
Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible to include some evenings and weekends
Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Community and Support Services Manager

About the Role

We’re seeking a Social and Wellbeing Lead to shape and deliver a high-quality, person-centred social and wellbeing programme at Ravenswood Village. This role plays a vital part in enhancing quality of life for the people we support, using creative, engaging, and meaningful activities that promote wellbeing, connection, and independence.

You will lead a small team, work closely with colleagues across services, and ensure activities reflect individual needs, interests, and cultural moments throughout the year. This is an active, hands-on leadership role with clear impact.

Your Day to Day

Plan, deliver, and oversee a structured social and wellbeing programme for individuals and groups.
Lead on event planning, including annual and culturally significant celebrations.
Work in partnership with managers, professionals, and support staff to deliver inclusive and engaging activities.
Line manage Social and Wellbeing Practitioners, including supervision, 1:1s, team meetings, and rota coordination.
Monitor and review activities using reporting, KPIs, audits, and feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
Identify and integrate relevant local community events and opportunities.
Ensure all activities meet Norwood’s health and safety standards and safeguarding requirements.
Maintain risk assessments and implement policies including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Manual Handling, Equal Opportunities, and COSHH.
Complete required training to maintain and develop professional skills and accreditation.
Qualifications, Experience & Training

Essential

Experience planning and delivering social, wellbeing, or activity programmes in a care or community setting.
Experience supporting people with neurodivergent disabilities.
Confidence leading teams and coordinating day-to-day delivery.
Strong organisational skills and ability to monitor outcomes and progress.
Clear understanding of health and safety and safeguarding in a care environment.
Desirable

Experience line managing staff.
Relevant qualification in health, social care, wellbeing, or activity coordination.
Knowledge of person-centred planning and inclusive activity design.
