Description:
We are looking for one or two male or female carer/s, they must have an understanding of autism, who can work term time= 18 hours a week, non term time= 36 hours a week and overnights= 20 a year.
Our 19 year old son has autism, duchenne muscular dystrophy, globel developmental delay andq non verbal he uses a commication aid and can say some words.
As he is autistic he likes to have a good bed time/shower routine and to know whats happening next, pecs can be used to help carer and him to know whats happening next, as time goes on pecs wont need to be used as long as the bed time/ shower routine stays the same.
He has a very good understanding and is very intelligent.
Here are a few of his interests that he enjoys, D.I.Y, buildings, building work, architecture, lego, drawing floor plans, maps, you tube, listening to all kinds of music, watching diy sos, having a laugh and having a little joke about.
Requirements:
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK (without sponsorship).
No criminal background. Post is subject to a DBS check.
