OP clinicsand all associated reviews/responses under consultant supervision and guidance Triage of primary care referrals / A&G referrals Independent endoscopy sessions (elective and/or inpatient) To provide ongoing care of patients on acute wards at RBH in partnership and consultant colleagues. The post holder is expected to supervise junior medical staff and have continuing in- patient responsibility in conjunction with the members of junior doctors medical team Participation in clinical audit Conducting suitable duties in cases of emergencies and unforeseen circumstances. To attend meetings of the Directorate of Gastroenterology and any other pertinent management meetings as deemed necessary. The duties outlined above are not definitive and may be changed in accordance with the needs of the service.
