Summary
Key Responsibilities Contract Management Work as an effective member of the Contracts and Team, providing support as required to the Senior Contract Managers in the management and monitoring of contracts. Providing contractual support for the contract sign off process, retrieval and dissemination of contractual documentation to stakeholders Supporting the Contracts team in the drafting, review and negotiation contracts including, for example Local Authority school contracts, Research and Development contracts and salary recharge contracts. Work alongside the Contracts team and other colleagues across the Trust to ensure appropriate input into Contracts and SLA negotiation, agreement and subsequent monitoring processes. To maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge particularly around National Tariff Payment System Rules and Guidance, Contracts and Procurement regulations and apply those (through meetings / training as required) to ensure that any proposed service changes or developments are in line with NHS contractual terms and conditions. Support the Senior Contract Managers to ensure that the Trust has signed SLAs and contracts in place that accurately reflect agreements reached with Providers and/or suppliers. Preparation and maintenance of all supporting contractual documentation and central register as required. Responsible for taking minutes at meetings as and when required. Technical Support the team and develop knowledge of the National Tariff Payment System and NHSE contracting guidance and developments. Ensure changes or developments are circulated appropriately within the team and within the Trust. To develop and maintain a close working relationship with the Trusts Business Intelligence and Income team ensuring that they are informed of data requirements and timescales. To undertake the production of any ad-hoc information requests as appropriate. To ensure that all data handled within the role is dealt with to the highest standards of confidentiality and security, taking responsibility for ensuring any breaches are reported and remedial action taken. Be required to manipulate complicated spreadsheets and will therefore require significant Excel skills.
