TeacherActive are looking for a School Deputy Head in the Northumbeland area. We have an amazing opportunity to work within one of the schools we work with!

We are currently looking for a Deputy Head to deliver a permanent position in education. You will have the guaranteed opportunity to support pupils and help them thrive towards success. The school is a SEND school that support children with Trauma, SEMH and challenging behaviour. The school embeds equality and diversity and ensures there are learning experiences to help students reflect on their own individuality.
TeacherActive are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:
• Has proven success of helping to lead in a SEN/SEMH school.
• Will be approachable and visible, have excellent communication skills and will work collaboratively with governors, the head teacher and leadership team, staff, parents, and the wider community.
• Will be passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of all staff and children, whilst maintaining high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
• Is resilient, creative, and committed to the future success of our school.
• Values children as individuals with personal strengths and needs and who strives to meet those needs.
