COMPLEX CARE SUPPORT WORKER (DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS)

We are currently recruiting experienced Complex Care Support Workers to support an individual with epilepsy and complex needs, including the use of oxygen therapy, in their own home. This is a 7-day-a-week care package, with both day and waking night shifts available.

Shift Patterns

Day shifts: 10:00 am – 10:30 pm
Night shifts (waking nights): 9:00 pm – 8:00 am
Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred complex care in line with the individual’s care plan
Monitor, recognise, and respond to epileptic seizures appropriately
Safely support and monitor oxygen therapy in line with prescribed guidance
Administer and support with medication management, including PRN where required
Maintain accurate daily care records and eMAR documentation
Support with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hydration
Respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies
Work in line with CQC standards, company policies, and best practice guidance
Essential Requirements

Epilepsy training – ESSENTIAL
Oxygen therapy experience – ESSENTIAL
Minimum of one years experience supporting individuals with epilepsy and complex care needs
Confident in recognising different seizure types and following emergency protocols
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently
Right to work in the UK
Desirable

Experience within domiciliary complex care
Medication administration experience
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
