About the Role
You will join the School Appeals Panel pool, a legally constituted body of volunteers and consider appeals from parents who are not satisfied with the Admission Authority’s decision to refuse their child a place at a specific school. You will also take part in reviews against exclusions.
About you
You will need to have had previous employment in or be able to demonstrate a significant knowledge and interest in the Education sector; be able to build and maintain good relationships with other Panel members and school staff; reach fair and balanced decisions in line with the School Admissions and the School Appeals Code and respect confidentiality.
You will also require basic IT skills and access to own laptop.
