About us:
Oasis Academy Daventry Road is a brand new 11-16 co-educational academy that opened in south Bristol in September 2023. Having started with Year 7 only, it will grow year on year to reach a capacity of 900 young people.
Oasis Academy Daventry Road will deliver high quality teaching in an environment where every child is valued and supported to succeed. We will work to develop the character and competence of all young people, in pursuit of everyone receiving an exceptional education and reaching their full potential both in learning and in life.
What you will be responsible for:
The successful candidate will join our highly effective and experienced support team. You will establish and maintain a professional, prompt and reliable HR service to all staff across Oasis Academy Daventry Road.
A full job description is attached but in summary this role offers the opportunity to develop your experience and knowledge of HR activities including but not limited to:
Recruitment, from inception through to onboarding and payroll administration
Absence and performance management
Employee relations and data returns
Issuing contracts and ensuring all vetting checks are completed
What you will bring:
A friendly, articulate and customer focused approach to work
Experience of supporting the delivery of effective HR systems in an education or public sector setting
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
a highly organised individual who can effectively prioritise tasks and use time efficiently
a high level of personal and professional integrity
Strong administrative and organisational skills
a genuine commitment to working with young people, and a desire to support them to thrive in learning and life
