Crynodeb
The post-holder will work in a large and diverse multidisciplinary team providing best possible inpatient care for elderly patients. The post holder must promote safe and effective handover of patient care in line with Trust Governance. The post holder will be required to actively participate in clinical audit and implement its results and relate these to the Trust and Directorate policies on Clinical Governance. The post-holder will be encouraged to work toward achieving their requirements and competencies for entry onto the specialist Register for Geriatrics (CESR support provided with a proven track record for progressing candidates applying). Leadership and Team Working Medical Staff Management Governance Research, Teaching and Training Performance Management Strategy and Business Planning There is an expectation that the post holder will participate in medical audit/ quality improvement initiatives.
