Remuneration, Time Commitment and Tenure The current remuneration for this role is £35,000 per annum Location - Nottingham Ideal candidate will also have worked (and/or lived) in local health and care system within Nottingham, and/or Derby, Lincolnshire with a good understanding of current and future opportunities and challenges as a Community Interest Company (CIC). The initial appointment will be for a period of three years after which you may be considered for further terms office, subject to the needs of the organisation and a good performance in the role. On average you be required to work two days per week, including preparation time away from the organisation and any events designed to support your development. You will be given a considerable degree of flexibility to determine how you manage the time to understand this role. Given the public profile of the Chair, it is important to have the ability to inspire confidence in our service users, commissioners, staff and the communities we serve. Nottingham CityCare will make several specific background checks to ensure that the successful candidate are fit and proper people to hold this important role. The Chair will lead the Board of Directors ensuring high standards of probity and governance prevail and that the organisation remains within its constitutional framework.
