Crynodeb
The Reddish Family Practice is a busy two-site GP surgery based in Reddish, Stockport serving over 11,500 patients. We are looking for a friendly and helpful Receptionist/Administrator, with excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high quality care, to join our team.
Main duties include: Answering phone calls and managing patients at the reception desk, ensuring accurate triage and that all patient queries are dealt with effectively. Triage of online queries, inviting patients in for appointments and to ensure smooth running of the waiting room and practice. Once the reception role has been embedded there will be further opportunities for expansion into more admin tasks.
You will be part of a friendly reception and admin team, reporting to the Reception / Admin supervisors, and supporting the wider practice team of GPs, Nurses, HCAs and other support staff.
The role will be on a early / late weekly shift pattern in order to cover the practice opening hours of 8am - 6.30pm Mon - Friday and you will need to be available when rota'd on an extended hours shift on an occasional Tuesday to 8pm or Saturday 9am-5pm.
Good customer service and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances. Former GP Surgery experience preferred but ll training will be provided on induction.
