We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal Social Worker (Grade 9) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision, support, and mentorship to social work staff to enhance their practice and professional development.
Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at improving social work services and client outcomes.
Conduct complex assessments and develop comprehensive intervention plans for high-risk clients and cases.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, community organizations, and stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
Monitor and evaluate service delivery to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops for social work staff on emerging trends, evidence-based practices, and ethical guidelines.
Act as a representative and advocate for the social work department in external meetings, conferences, and public forums.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work (BSW) required; master's degree in social work (MSW) preferred and may be required for specific roles.
Current and valid social work license or certification as per state regulations.
Minimum of 5 years of social work experience, with a proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role.
Thorough knowledge of social work theory, practice, and legal frameworks, including local and national policies.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and develop effective interventions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients, staff, and community members effectively.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in social work practices.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £33.00
