Leigh Academies Trust (LAT), one of England's largest and most successful education groups, is seeking a motivated Finance Officer to join the small, dynamic Finance Team at The Leigh Institute. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an accounting background looking to grow in a supportive environment will be crucial for the smooth day-to-day operation of our financial processes.
The successful candidate will play a critical role, providing a smooth day-to-day operation of our financial processes. Core responsibilities include processing all orders, invoices, and expense claims onto Sage, preparing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, and managing sales ledger invoicing. Candidates must demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, alongside excellent organisational and time management skills, to manage a varied workload effectively.
This is a fixed-term contract until August 2027, offering 30 hours per week. We offer flexibility in working days and hours; please indicate your preference in your application so we can discuss it during the interview.
