Crynodeb
The post holder will be expected to work with local managers and professional colleagues in the efficient running of the service, across both elective and emergency pathways. The post holder will also take part in the Good Hope emergency on call rota (1:8) and the Solihull Consultant of the week rota (1:24). This is a replacement post to allow continuity of the service but also to ensure there is sufficient sub-speciality cover within the team and to provide succession planning for colleagues. The post holder will support the general and colorectal service to ensure maximal session utilisation within colorectal and general surgery. The post holder will be part of the colorectal team based at Good Hope Hospital site but also work collaboratively with colleagues on the Heartlands, Solihull, & Queen Elizabeth hospital sites as part of the wider UHB Colorectal Network.
