Your new role
As the receptionist, you will be the first point of contact with the academy/school for all parents/carers and visitors, both by telephone and in person, and need to ensure information flows are accurate and effective. You will deal with incoming and outgoing post as well as assisting with other general office duties as required.

Scalby Academy is a successful and popular 11 to 16 community school based in picturesque seaside town of Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast. We currently have approximately 1000 students on roll. In recent years we have become the school of choice in our local community. Our P8 score in 2024 placed us in the top 14% of schools nationally again.
