Are you an experienced and confident Year 6 teacher looking for a new challenge in the new year? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a thriving primary academy with a strong commitment to excellence and inclusivity. Staff work collaboratively to ensure children are prepared for the next stage of their education.
The role:
- Full responsibility for a Year 6 class, focusing on SATs preparation and progress.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and raise attainment.
- PPA time will be allocated to support planning and preparation.
- Work closely with a dedicated Teaching Assistant who supports pupils with additional needs and EHCP plans.
- Liaise effectively with the TA to ensure tailored support for individual children.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the wider school community.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- Proven experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs.
- Strong classroom management and ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
