As an Equipment Library Technician, you will support the daily operations of the service, including:
• Managing the loan, collection and return of medical devices in line with demand, risk and Trust requirements.
• Ensuring all loans are fully traceable and auditable, supporting compliance with CQC standards and national medical device management guidance.
• Recording accurate information on the asset management system and maintaining clean, well-organised storage and working environments.
• Communicating effectively with clinical teams to arrange equipment loans, highlight overdue items and escalate issues appropriately.
• Participating in routine equipment checks, basic functional testing and cleaning processes in accordance with manufacturer instructions and Trust policies.
• Contributing to equipment traceability, data analysis and the improvement of internal processes and pathways.
• Supporting timely deliveries and collections while adapting practices to meet service and user needs.
• Working collaboratively within the team to resolve challenges, escalate concerns and maintain high service standards.
The role requires confident use of Microsoft Office and specialist database systems, with the ability to develop strong data-entry, organisation and prioritisation skills.
