We require a LED Foundation Year Two to join the Department of Urology within East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The Urology Department at Eastbourne District General Hospital is a busy department, which is friendly and supportive.
Although this post is a Trust funded post and not a training post, you will be provided with the same opportunities as those in a training post.
The Urology Department at Eastbourne District General Hospital is a busy department, which is friendly and supportive. This post forms part of the Resident Doctor rota, you will be assigned to a Consultant and will support them in emergency and elective workload but will also be part of a larger team. This post will take part in the Hospital at Night rota as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

This posts forms part of the 1:13 Hospital at Night shift rota. The 13 doctors making up the Hospital at Night Rota are comprised of doctors from Urology & ENT, you will be expected to work together out of hours to provide emergency care to both specialty patients. In addition, you will be the first contact for any post operative emergencies for admitted patients under General Surgery, Breast and Gynaecology. Prospective cover between resident is required for leave requests.
