Description: A 14-year-old boy in the Darlington is looking for a Personal Assistant to support him to access the community, he has an interested in music and would like to attend the forum on a Wednesday evening. support is to build his independence and confidence.
Hours: Initially the role is for 6 hours a week, to be used flexibly on an evening and may include an occasional weekend.
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour, during probationary period but this will be looked at for the correct person. Mileage will be paid by the employer at a rate of 40p per mile.
Duties will include: Access the community and to participate in interests, maintain safety, build confidence and life skills.
Applicants must be: Trustworthy, reliable, patient and flexible. A driver is essential with access to own vehicle.
All successful applicants will undergo references and an enhanced DBS check. Opportunities to access free training will be provided.
