We’re looking for a Personal Assistant to support a cheerful gentleman in Darlington who loves getting out and about — from drives to the Dales and lunch at the pub and even horse riding!
This is a rewarding, part-time opportunity where your support will make a genuine difference every single week.
The Role
Hours: Mondays, 9:00am – 4:00pm (7 hours per week)
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Mileage: 45p per mile
Lunch: Provided when out and about!
You will be supporting with:
Personal care and day-to-day assistance
Helping during horse riding sessions (working with mum and trainer to help person mount horse)
Offering great company, encouragement, and a helping hand
Accompanying on trips, drives, and lunch outings
About You
We’re not looking for formal qualifications — it’s your personality and attitude that matter most!
Essential qualities:
Kind, patient, and trustworthy
Reliable, caring, and committed.
Able to provide person-centred, compassionate care.
Full, clean driving licence (you will have access to a mobility car – business insurance required)
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience supporting disabled people.
Moving and handling skills
(Full training will be provided — so if you have got the right attitude, we will teach you the rest!)

A DBS check and references will be required before starting.
