Summary


The post holder will coordinate all clinic services in Ophthalmology Outpatients and the Community Diagnostic Centre at East Riding Community Hospital (ERCH) and work as part of the clinical team to ensuring and maintaining a clean, tidy, safe, well-stocked and comfortable and ensure the stock is maintained at adequate levels in both areas. To work closely with the Matron and Departmental Sisters in ensuring the eleven service standards as set out in the NHS Plan are met.

• Communicate effectively with other team members and Senior Team

• Ensures effective communication between suppliers, estates and maintenance teams to ensure effective environment and equipment.

• Uses knowledge and experience to follow agreed policies and procedures.

• Take responsibility for own developmental learning and performance.

• Practices safe moving and handling procedures when moving equipment and supplies.

• Responsible for delivering a delegated workload against the needs of patients and service requirements.

• Ensure the maintenance of effective systems, and stock control.
