Crynodeb
a) Power tools and access equipment will be provided by the Trust and the postholder is responsible for storage and security of these. Basic tools are to be supplied and maintained by the craftsperson. b) Will be required to fully participate in the effective running of a computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) system where applicable. c) Maintain cleanliness and safety of their work area and workshop/storage areas. d) The post holder will have use of a Trust credit card for the purchases of Trust materials/equipment only. It will be the post holders responsibility to ensure the security of the credit card. e) Attend training sessions, seminars, and courses for the purpose of self development as directed by the Head of Estates Operations or Estates M&E Managers. Attend manufacturers training courses for engineering plant and equipment as required. f) The post holder must wear the personal protection equipment provided and follow safety precautions. They should familiarise themselves with the Estates Department Tradesperson Safety Manual and ensure that safe working practices are adhered to in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. g) The post holder is required to familiarise themselves with Estates and Trust Policies and Procedures, to always adhere to them and to comment on any possible improvement or inaccuracies where appropriate. h) To work to industry standards, local operating procedures, and policies. To work within Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) guidelines. Policies and Procedures and to always adhere to them. i) The post holder must possess a full UK driving licence and be prepared to use own car to travel between SCFT properties to undertake duties. j) Reimbursement is made for all authorised travel.
