Area: Darlington
A young person is looking for a PA to support her to increase her confidence, communication skills, independence and to look for and access new activities within the community.
The young person enjoys day trips, going shopping, cooking, crafts, coffee shops, cinema, swimming and going for walks. The PA will also support with independence and life skills within home and the community, clothes shopping, road safety, travel training, administration, attending appointments, cooking, cleaning, administration, using appliances, navigating directions.
Rate of Pay:
£12.21 per hour
Hours:
9 hours per week.
Current hours include:
Tuesday 6pm-9pm. Weekends and pickups from college.
Overnight stays may be available on ad-hoc basis.
Employer would like flexibility with hours in line with changes in young person’s schedule.

Driver with access to own transport.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience working with SEN / autism and sensory issues.

The successful applicant may be subject to DBS and reference checks.
