Hazel Garth is a Dementia Care Home based in Knottingley. At Hazel Garth we support vulnerable adults who have a diagnosis of Dementia and provide high levels of care to ensure that our residents have the best quality of life in their later years.
We are recruiting a 22-hour Kitchen Domestic Assistant to join our team at Hazel Garth care home. You should be reliable, considerate and caring in your approach. Someone who is committed to maintaining the highest standards in the kitchen and during the food preparation process. Formal qualifications aren’t necessary, although any similar experience would be useful.
Your role as a Kitchen Domestic Assistant will include:
Keeping the kitchen areas clean and tidy
Supporting the cook with basic food preparation
Properly cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene
Assisting with specialist dietary requirements
Serving nutritional meals
With a starting salary of £12.85-£13.05 per hour, enhancements for weekend and bank holiday working, plus overtime opportunities and 25 days holiday why wouldn’t you want to choose a career in care?
