Joina leading independent technology and services provider as an IT SupportEngineer.

Job Overview:
We are looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer responsible for Level 2/3 end‑user and deskside support across Windows/macOS devices, mobile platforms, and peripherals.

  • Location: 33 Cannon St, London EC4M 5SB
  • Daily Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays approved umbrella company)
  • Contract Duration: 19-1-2025 to 19-01-2028
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday onsite


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support for hardware/software issues (laptops, desktops, printers).
  • Manage and resolve tickets using ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
  • Collaborate with expert teams for incident analysis and resolution.
  • Prepare and stage hardware using SCCM.
  • Troubleshoot Windows 11 systems.
  • Set up conference rooms and support management meetings.
  • Perform physical installations (cabling, monitors, PCs, printers).
  • Support mass IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) projects.
  • Level 2/3 support for Windows/macOS, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot OS, apps, drivers, profiles, VPN, Citrix, VDI, and printing issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365 suite and identity/access via AD, Azure AD, Entra ID.
  • Handle device imaging, provisioning, break/fix, and data protection.
  • Manage incidents and requests in ServiceNow, meet SLAs, document root causes.
  • Contribute to SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Maintain CMDB/asset database, handle RMA/repairs, and ensure compliant disposal.


Key Requirements:

  • ITIL-oriented (certification preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and lifecycle.
  • Fluent in English, team player, customer focused.
  • Physically fit (able to lift 20-25 kg).
  • Basic networking knowledge (IPv4/IPv6).


Working Conditions

  • Onsite presence required.
  • Shift work with occasional early mornings or after-hours.
  • Physical handling of hardware equipment.
