Our client, a respected educational institution in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate One-To-One Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £20,422 to £23,232.69 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

As a One-To-One Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of a designated student with special educational needs. Working closely with the classroom teacher and other professionals, you will contribute to the creation and implementation of individualised learning plans tailored to the student's specific requirements.
- Provide one-to-one support to a designated student with special educational needs, ensuring their full participation in classroom activities and promoting their independence
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to develop and deliver differentiated learning materials and activities that cater to the student's unique learning style and abilities
- Monitor and assess the student's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback to the classroom teacher and parents
- Assist the student with personal care needs, such as mobility, hygiene, and feeding, as required
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the student's self-esteem, confidence, and social skills
- Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, including Individual Education Plan (IEP) reviews and parent-teacher conferences
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in special educational needs support
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education, or a related field (e.g. , CACHE, BTEC, NVQ)
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Strong teamwork abilities and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs
- Proficiency in using educational technology and assistive devices
- Satisfactory completion of enhanced DBS check and references
