We're looking for someone special to share their life with a young person living in their family home in Dunscroft, Doncaster.This vibrant individual has a tracheostomy, uses ventilation, and has a PEG feed, but that's just one part of who they are.They're a creative and expressive person who loves having fun and engaging in activities that bring them joy - just like you might with your own children!As their trusted supporter, you'll play a vital role in enhancing their daily life, providing both practical care and emotional connection.
Your role will be all about building a strong, trusting relationship with this young person, understanding their needs, and supporting them to live life to the fullest.You'll bring a caring and empathetic approach, a willingness to have fun, and a passion for making a real difference in their life.While experience in complex care is desirable, what's most important is that you have a heart for supporting others and a desire to make a positive impact.
So, what can you expect from your shifts? You'll be working 1:1 with this young person, providing personalised care that's tailored to their unique needs.This will include supporting their physical health, such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and ventilation management, as well as helping with household tasks to create a comfortable and organised living space.Most importantly, you'll be communicating with them in a way that feels natural and respectful, building a strong bond that enriches their life.

This role sits within our Team Brain Injury Support, and you will be supported by an experienced hands-on Complex Care Manager.
