About you...
As an Administration Assistant in the MASH team, you will be the first point of contact for members of the public contacting Children’s Social Care.

In our busy MASH Hub, you will need strong administrative abilities, along with confident telephone and message-taking skills. You should be conscientious, reliable, and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

You will have excellent IT skills and the ability to input data accurately to tight deadlines.

About the team...
MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) is a fast-paced team and serves as the front door to Children’s Services and Early Help. It is the first point of contact for all potential safeguarding concerns relating to children, whether raised by families, members of the public, or professionals.

As part of the MASH team, you will handle highly confidential work within Children’s Social Care. Your role will involve close collaboration with colleagues across the department, partner agencies, and members of the public.

The standard working week is one of 37 hours, Monday to Friday, and the council’s agile working policy supports a hybrid approach of approximately 50% office-based and 50% remote working.

Recording of information on electronic databases
Processing of information
Being the first point of contact for Children’s Social Care
Any other administration related tasks
