This busy London family is seeking an Afternoon Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The role includes all general nanny duties. A driver is required, and the family can provide an automatic vehicle. They are looking for a highly competent, safe, reliable, and very organised nanny with a warm and genuine approach to children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, experienced (with at least one year in a similar role), and an excellent driver. The nanny should maintain a safe and tidy environment while fitting naturally into the family’s daily routine. Occasional babysitting, around once a fortnight with prior notice—may also be required. A valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Term time: (Approximately 33 weeks during the year): Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Friday, 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm (27.5 hours in total) | School Holidays (Approximately 19 weeks during the year): Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm (44 hours in total)

Duties include:

arranging appropriate activities for the children
pick the children up from school
meal preparations
school runs
helping out with homework
going to the park
planning other fun activities while the parents are working
preparing and escorting the children on play dates
doing extracurricular activities such as sports
