Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Priory is seeking a self-motivated, adaptable and highly organised individual to fill the role of Intervention Tutor to deliver English and Maths. The position involves the tuition of individuals or small groups of students who require personalised individual or group tuition to successfully engage in their education. In addition, where progress concerns have been identified additional support will be provided in core subjects alongside students’ regular timetables. The successful applicant will (through liaison with colleagues) provide appropriate resources to support motivation, engagement and confidence to access learning.

Applicants should be confident in delivering core subjects, articulate and passionate in their desire to support individual students’ success. Being able to build and maintain mutually respectful relationships with staff, parents and pupils alike is essential. The successful candidate will be relentless and uncompromising in securing excellent outcomes for all pupils.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, together with excellent teaching skills are the main prerequisites for this position.
