Salary: Grade H. Scale 29 - £39,862 to Scale 31 - £41,771

Hours Per Week: 36 hours

Base Location: Tameside One, Ashton-under-Lyne

The Role

The Systems team requires an enthusiastic individual to support the key IT systems in Children’s and Adults Services.

You will need to balance day to day maintenance and administration of systems with system improvement and implementation projects.

You will have responsibility to manage and successfully deliver those projects.

The ability to identify and develop improvements, work with services to understand their needs and translate these into operating systems will be a vital role for the successful applicant.

The position will sit within the Systems team but will work closely with the wider organisation and external partners.

We actively promote flexible working in the Systems team and this role can allow you to be flexible around your personal circumstances. We will also consider part time applications.

About You

You will need great attention to detail and the ability to problem solve in a systems environment, plus you will play a key part in user acceptance testing for new functionality.

You will have the ability to analyse, manipulate and report complex data sets to help inform corporate decision making.

It would be beneficial to have the ability to work across systems and be able to learn new systems quickly.

You will possess excellent IT, communication and project management skills.
