Rotating Shifts: 06:00-14:30 / 14:00-22:30 / 22:00-06:30

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Extrusion / Machine Operative to join our client's growing team in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in machine operation or manufacturing who is looking for a stable role with long-term prospects.
You will play a key part in the production process, ensuring that high-quality products are manufactured to meet customer specifications. Working in a modern, fast-paced environment, you'll also be responsible for setting up and operating extrusion machinery, monitoring output, and making adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Set up machines according to job specifications and adjust settings as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate major problems to the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete all required documentation.
- Follow strict health & safety guidelines and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Assist with material handling, including loading raw materials and packaging finished goods.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
