We have a great opportunity to join our caring and supportive team at Coastal Lodge as a Reablement Assistant.

Located in Bournemouth, Coastal Lodge is a 36 bedded unit, which provides short term rehabilitation and reablement care and support on their journey back home.

What you’ll do

  • Providing care and support to our clients to encourage and promote independence.
  • Using goal plans and observational skills to assist in the reablement of clients.
  • Supporting clients to undertake practical everyday tasks to help them regain independence.
  • Providing verbal and written feedback on a client’s progress as required.

What you need

  • Knowledge of Care and Safeguarding legislation.
  • Experience of working in a care environment providing personal care is desirable.
  • Good communication skills and be a strong team player.
  • The ability to follow care plans and complete accurate records.
  • NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.

2 x vacancies – full-time, 37 hours per week

We operate services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, ranging from Residential Homes, Day Services, Supported Living sites and Reablement Home Care.
