Join our caring and supportive team at Coastal Lodge as a Night Care Assistant and make a real difference.
Located in Bournemouth, Coastal Lodge is a 36 bedded unit, which provides short term rehabilitation and reablement care and support on their journey back home.
What you’ll do
- Personal waking night care duties including washing, feeding and manual handling.
- Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect for our clients.
- Delivery of structured care plans and safeguarding disciplines.
- Using goal plans and observational skills to assist in the reablement of clients.
- Providing verbal and written feedback on a client’s progress as required.
What you need
- Knowledge of Care and Safeguarding legislation.
- Experience of working in a care environment providing personal care is desirable.
- Good communication skills and be a strong team player.
- The ability to follow care plans and complete accurate records.
- NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
Part-time - 30 hours per week
