Summary
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our bridges and structures team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys leading projects, working with a range of stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing development and upkeep of key transport infrastructure.
About the Role
You will take a leading role in the design, evaluation, and ongoing management of bridge and structural assets across road or rail networks. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you will oversee project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence.
What We're Looking For

Professionally qualified engineer (CEng) with membership of a recognised civil or structural engineering institution

Strong background in bridge or structural design, with knowledge of assessment and asset management practices

Experience gained within highways, rail, public sector, consultancy, or contracting environments

Proven ability to manage complex projects and programmes, coordinating teams and resources effectively

Confident communicator with strong technical writing and presentation skills

Comfortable engaging with clients, partners, and stakeholders at all levels
