Are you a class 2 driver looking for odd shifts to infill against other work? Looking to top up your pay, then this could be for you.
We are currently recruiting for temporary Class 2 Driver who will take responsibility for loading, transporting and unloading goods in a safe and timely manner. This is a temporary role on as an when required basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Logistics team with loading and unloading goods.
• Verify the accuracy of orders being loaded and unloaded.
• Move vehicles around site.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, including checking fluid levels.
• Ensure that a professional image is portrayed at all times.
• Liaise with customers on estimated arrival times.
This role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks.
Person Specification:
• Class 2 HGV licence (Cat C) (essential).
• Previous experience of driving an HGV vehicle (desirable)
• Previous experience of undertaking delivery drops (desirable).
• Valid Tacograph card.
• Valid Driver CPC (present and up to date).
Working hours:
• Monday to Friday, 04:00am – 14:00pm
