Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bricklaying / Stone Laying Gang for immediate start on our client development site in Towcester, NN12 area.
This role offers several months of ongoing work with flexibility on the start date.
Requirements:
Experience in bricklaying and/or stone laying
High-quality workmanship and finishing
Full gang preferred
CSCS cards essential
Own tools and transport
Reliability and good communication
Details:
Project: Private residential build (5 houses total)
Start: Immediate (flexible)
Duration: Several months of work
Hours: Full-time
Rate: Negotiable, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out brick and stone laying to design specifications and drawings
Construct walls, façades, and structural masonry elements
Prepare foundations and set out layouts accurately
Cut and shape bricks/stone as required
Mix and apply mortar to required standards
Maintain high site standards and quality control
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
Communicate progress and issues to site lead
Coordinate with other trades when necessary
