An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Meeting and Events Supervisor. You will be based at our Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre and assist the Revenue, Reservations & Events Sales Manager for 3 properties (Bristol City Centre, bristol Airport and Cardiff Airport). This role is very hands' on and will require you to assist the CRRE Manager to oversee the day to day operations of our Revenue, Reservations & Events Sales Team. You'll ensure that all our clients' meetings and events run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner. You'll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for planners, hosts and meeting attendees. You will be vital in driving our brand standards forward and implementing changes to assist in providing profit growth whilst ensuring that our guests receives a true hospitality that our hotels believe in.

What will your key responsibilities and duties be:
- Ensure that our Meetings and Events bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently.
- Produce accurate function sheets for all of our conference and events in a timely manner;
- Proactively sell our hotel to our potential new clients, this will include conducting hotel show rounds.
- Identify our guests' needs and provide solutions to match them on all enquires.
- Identify opportunities for new business through research, cold calling and utilising current inhouse software. (In conjunction with our Cluster Sales Manager).
- Ensure all orders, invoices and billing processes relating to the Meetings & Events Team are processed as per our processes and in a timely manner;
- Act as Meetings & Events host as and when required.
Job Requirements
- A Meetings & Events Coordinator with at least 1 years' experience working in a hospitality Conference environment (Either Sales or Operations), or someone who can show a real passion for the Meetings and Events industry
- Experience in a 4* branded hotel would be a bonus!
- Someone who is revenue/sales hungry and target driven, and is looking to make a real difference to our hotels;
- Proven attention to detail, by ensuring that each of the function sheets for our Meetings & Events have all the relevant details included in order to deliver a seamless experience;
- Proactive, composed, enthusiastic, approachable, able to build strong rapport with guests and colleagues.
