Summary
The Acute Medicine division offers an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team. We are seeking Band 3 Apprentice Ward Clerk who is highly motivated working along within the nursing and medical team. This post will cover 7 days a week, working 07.30-20.00 and this will be on a rota basis. The position requires someone fully flexible to support different teams within Acute Medicine. The role requires regular cross site working between KGH and QH to deliver high quality administrative support.
You will be responsible for all aspects of admin in the Acute Medicine division, providing a professional, comprehensive, and efficient administrative service effectively delivered to all patients and department members. You will need to demonstrate high levels of customer care and be an ambassador for customer care within the Trust.
Alongside the role you will complete the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship. If you already hold a Customer Service qualification at Level 2 or above, you are not eligible to apply for this post.

To be eligible for an Apprenticeship you must meet the following criteria:
Be 18 years old or over.
Have the right to work in the UK with a visa that covers the duration of the apprenticeship.
Have been permanently resident in the UK for the past 3 years

To provide an efficient and effective clerical support service to nursing and medical staff within MRU and SDEC. The post holder will promote and encourage a caring and sympathetic environment for patients, relatives and staff ensuring that high standards of service are continually maintained. The nature of duties undertaken within this post dictates that strict confidentiality is always maintained.
