Start ASAP | Lovely East London Primary School
Remedy Education are currently working with a fantastic, friendly SEN school in Barking and Dagenham who are looking for caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. If you're someone who genuinely enjoys supporting children who need that extra bit of encouragement, this could be the perfect match.
What you'll be doing:
- Working 1:1 with a pupil or supporting small groups who need additional help
- Helping children feel confident, included and ready to learn
- Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and tailored activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating the small wins along the way
- Being a calm, steady presence for pupils who may find school a little overwhelming
What the school are hoping for:
- Some experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH, etc.)
- Someone patient, warm and able to adapt quickly
- A good communicator who's happy working closely with teachers and support staff
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
What we can offer:
- Competitive daily pay, paid weekly
- Immediate start dates
- A supportive team at Remedy who check in regularly
- Local roles and long-term opportunities if you're looking to grow in education
