Cleaning Supervisor

Belfast City Centre (covering few sites) - Full time - Permanent

As a Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless cleaning operations and keep things running smoothly.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and support cleaning teams across multiple Belfast sites, ensuring high cleaning standards and a safe working environment.

  • Carry out hands-on cleaning duties, including specialist and vehicle cleaning, when required.

  • Manage stock levels, place orders, and ensure all materials and equipment are used safely and maintained in good working order.

  • Conduct routine audits, quality checks, and health and safety compliance activities.

  • Respond promptly to client queries, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and service satisfaction remains high.

  • Train, coach, and support new staff, fostering strong team performance.

  • Oversee rotas, holiday requests, and basic payroll inputs to maintain operational coverage and efficiency.

  • Report building faults and coordinate with site managers to address issues quickly.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong cleaning knowledge and experience and the motivation to step into or develop further in a supervisory role.

  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and deliver high-quality results to set deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, listening, and customer service skills.

  • A flexible, positive, and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

  • Confidence using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, with good understanding of COSHH and H&S standards.

  • Competence with basic MS Office tools and comfort handling simple administrative tasks.

  • A collaborative team mindset with readiness to step in and cover where needed.

  • A full driving licence and access to your own car.
