Summary

We’re looking for a Taxi Licensing Assistant to support our busy team and help keep local transport safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help process and monitor taxi and private hire driver, vehicle, and operator licence applications
• Handle basic queries from applicants in person, by phone, and by email
• Keep accurate records and update licensing systems
• Carry out general admin tasks, including managing files, updating our web pages, and helping prepare Committee agendas

What We’re Looking For:

• Good IT knowledge and strong keyboard skills to input information accurately
• Previous office administration experience
• Good customer service awareness
• Strong literacy skills for writing letters and emails
• Basic numeracy skills to calculate invoices

Pendle is in Lancashire’s scenic Pennines, close to the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, and Manchester.
