About the Role
Join our dynamic team at Wickersley School and Sports College and help build the future. As a Teacher at WPT, your core responsibility is to ensure that every student assigned to you makes exceptional progress. You will plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that do not just meet the National Curriculum but bring it to life.Responsibilities
• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and prepare engaging, industry-relevant courses and lessons that bring construction principles to life.
• Adaptive Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the specific educational needs of the pupils assigned to you.
• Assessment & Feedback: Set and mark work completed in School and elsewhere, providing constructive feedback that helps pupils refine their craft.
• Progress Monitoring: Meticulously assess, record, and report on pupil development and attainment in strict accordance with School policy.
• Mentoring: Collaborate with pupils and parents to set ambitious, achievable short-term learning targets that take prior attainment into account.
The successful candidate must hold their Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
