Role Description:Undertake a range of accounting and establishment activities and provide services in support of the management accounting, financial accounting and establishment monitoring functions for the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- To support the Finance Business Partnering model within the wider organisation.
- To assist in the closure of the annual accounts and produce outturn data in accordance with legislation.
- To oversee certain exchequer functions as required.
- To ensure that financial systems, practices and procedures are sound and in accordance with Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.
- To liaise with internal and external auditors.
- To ensure balance sheet reconciliations are undertaken in line with agreed timescales
Experience and Skills
- Accounting qualification
- Experience of working in a finance department
- Experience of producing statement of accounts and year-end statements
- Able to meet deadlines, prioritise workloads and work independently
- Detail focussed
- High level Excel skills
