Location: Aylesford - ME20 7NS or Smallfield - RH6 9JE

Hours: 45 hours per week. Monday to Friday - Days and Nights

Salary: £45,000 to £49,000 depending on experience + overtime + uplift for nights + company van

What will you be responsible for?

As a Supervisor, you'll oversee the safe and effective delivery of Planned works to meet programme, quality and commercial expectations across Area 4.

Your day-to-day will include:

· Safely delivering works in line with SHE legislation, COVID 19 SOP's and company policy e.g. 5 Basics, PUWER, LOLER, HAVS, 10 steps to safe digging, waste management etc

· Deliver and monitor daily briefings, ensuring that they are tailored and specific to the works being undertaken

· Undertaking site audits and TM checks to assess and ensure compliance

· Promoting the right safety culture - leading by example, promoting ownership, coaching, toolbox talks and encouraging near misses and feedback

· Escalation and feedback of site issues to promote lessons learnt and continuous improvement

· Assisting with the delivery of contract inductions



What are we looking for?

This role of Supervisor is great for you if:

· You have experience in Highways Maintenance or a similar field

· Have a certificate in Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or Site Supervisors Site Training Scheme (SSSTS)

· Able to lead and create a healthy safety-first site culture

· Have reasonable written, numerical and IT skills

· Full Driving Licence
