Groundworks Gang Needed: (2 Groundworkers + 1 Excavator Operator) - Edinburgh Civils

Are you a reliable, established 3-Man Groundworks Gang looking for immediate, ongoing work in Edinburgh? We have a position available for a proven team to join a busy civils project in the city centre.

Job Details:
  • Role: Experienced Groundworks Gang (Team of 3)

  • Team Composition: Must include 2 Skilled Groundworkers and 1 Competent 360 Excavator Operator.

  • Location: Edinburgh

  • Duration: Ongoing contract work (Long-term)

  • Pay Rate: up to £21.00 per hour (CIS) per operative

Experience Required:

We require a highly efficient and self-sufficient gang with solid, demonstrable experience in general groundworks duties, particularly:

  • Deep and Shallow Drainage: The gang must be fluent and safety-conscious in trench excavation, pipe laying, and manhole construction.

  • Foundations & Footings: Installation for commercial and structural civils.

  • External Finishes: Kerbing, flagging, and laying concrete slabs.

  • Excavation: The 360 Operator must be proficient in bulk earthworks, leveling, and drainage work.

Requirements:
  • All operatives must hold a valid Blue CSCS Card (Skilled Worker Card).

  • The Operator must possess a valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (ideally above 10t).

  • Proven track record of reliability, working as a unit, and maintaining high safety standards on heavy civils sites.
