The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Camden area.
The school provides tailored support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, Speech & Language needs, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils' learning and wellbeing in a supportive and nurturing school environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with varying SEN needs
* Assist in implementing behaviour, sensory, and communication strategies
* Support the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual needs
* Help create an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment
* Deliver targeted interventions to promote academic, social, and emotional progress
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school setting
* Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and SEN best practice
