We are looking for a Personal Assistant for 14 hours per week to support J in the community and with daily tasks.
Hourly rate - 12.60
Key Responsibilities
Support the individual in attending community activities.
Assist with planning and completing weekly food shopping, including budgeting and choosing suitable locations.
Accompany the individual to medical appointments, providing help with travel, organization, and communication.
Offer support with theory test revision.
Assist with launderette visits, helping with drop-offs, collection, and organization of clothing.
Provide weekly support with budgeting, managing finances, and understanding essential expenses.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in daily routines.
Essential Qualities
Patient, reliable, and understanding
Strong communication and organisational skills
Calm, supportive, person-centred approach
Driving license to support travel and community access
