Crynodeb
The post holder will work in an integrated oncology therapy team to assist with assessment and treatment of patients seen by the outpatient cancer therapy team. This will involve patients who may have complex and varying physical and psychological presentations. The focus of therapy intervention is to help optimise patients before, during and after cancer treatment. The post-holder will carry out agreed treatment plans under the guidance of qualified therapists including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and speech and language therapists; this could include group or 1:1 sessions. The post-holder will also be expected to support the daily running of the oncology outpatient therapy service, taking responsibility for administrative and organisational tasks.

· To manage a clinical workload across the outpatient oncology therapy service and to update line manager of any service changes.
· To independently manage administration tasks such as typing patient letters
· To be involved in the review/screening of patients under the guidance of the registered professionals in the team
