DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To support the Foundation Year 1 doctors. To be competent in history taking and examination. To be able to manage the acutely ill patient. To be able to receive ED & GP referrals and liaise with senior doctors regarding managementof acutely ill patients. To develop skills as a urological trainee in theatre and out-patients using the IntercollegiateSurgical Curriculum Project as a framework. To develop in communication skills with colleagues, staff and patients as well asdocumentation. To be able to work as a member of a team and with other teams in a multi-disciplinary setting. To be able to show professionalism during the delivery of the role that will support and enablegood clinical care. To develop competency in the area of decision making and prioritising ones workload as wellas demonstrating effective time management.
